How it Works
The piling hammer attachment allows the excavator operator full control during operation.
The PRODEM model PMV150/170 is a normal frequency vibratory pile driver/extractor designed to drive and extract all the types of piles including sheet, pipe (casing), timber, H-beam, I-beam and steel plates. Specially adapted for connection to a hydraulic excavator, it requires no modifications (excavator or vibrator) to be attached.
The model PMV150/170 operates in a frequency up to 2750 per minute to provide maximum pile penetration rates in a wide variety of soils. The unit has an eccentric moment of 3.64 kg-m and produces maximum amplitude of 14 mm
Piling Hammers (EMVs) are specifically designed as a sheet piling attachment for excavators. They have a high power to weight ratio due to the high operating frequency and can apply an additional vertical force from the excavator to assist driving if required.
