Ridgway Rentals gets to work with Oswestry Rugby Club

Oswestry Rugby Club have been dealing with persistent waterlogging of its pitch, which has begun to effect play. In order to resolve this the club plans to commence dredging areas of the pitch allowing for better drainage, therefore creating better playing conditions for all of its members.

The second stage of works to commence at the club is the extension of its field of play, taking away a proportion of the car park. This work has been commissioned to optimise the potential training and playing space available to its members, allowing for multiple sessions to take place at any given time.

In order for the work to be undertaken, Ridgway Rentals has provided the club with a JCB 50Z – 5 tonne digger and a JCB 6T – 6 tonne dumper. These machines will allow the club to achieve its ambitions for a larger and more efficient playing surface.
