Penybont GT does the NC500
Posted Monday November 16th 2020With a taste for adventure, the Ridgway sponsored Jag XJ6, named Rusty (for obvious reasons!), embarked on the NC500 earlier this year.
The NC500 is 500 miles around the Scottish coast, mountains & lochs.
These breathtaking coastal routes ensure incredible scenery plus the sometimes challenging roads, make this a great homegrown road trip anyone can do!

Last year Ridgway sponsored the Penybont GT banger rally to Gibraltar, this consisted of 10 British bangers driving to Gibraltar raising money for the Welsh Air Ambulance.
In all, over £20,000 was raised for charity and another trip planned to Bulgaria, sadly this was cancelled this year!

North Coast 500
The North Coast 500 (NC500) route stretches along some of Scotland’s most northerly coastal points and is known to be one of the best road trips in the world!
Referred to as Scotland’s answer to Route 66, the NC500 route runs through the Scottish counties of Inverness-shire, Ross & Cromarty, Sutherland and Caithness taking in many Scottish landmarks along the way.
