Ridgway Invest in New Plant Hire Equipment
Posted Thursday November 14th 2019Our latest investment in New Plant Hire Equipment involves the purchase of 130 Komatsu machines worth £12 million!
New machines include Excavators, Bulldozers and Loading Shovels ranging from 2.5 to 50 ton.
New Plant Hire Equipment includes Specialist Machines
This recent order includes a number of specialist machines including loading shovels built to meet the specific requirements of waste & recycling sites.
These machines come with a bundle of safety features that are vital for these industries with so many strict health & safety obligations to adhere to. Extra specifications include being fitted with solid tyres, high tip buckets and fire suppression equipment but they can also be matched to customers exact requirements.
Also included are long reach crawler excavators, these are factory fitted with super long fronts to meet the growing demand from environmental agencies and quarrying, waterway and railway sectors.
Komatsu Intelligent Machine Control
Komatsu intelligent machine control (IMC) machines are also featured in this latest investment. Back in 2017, we were the first plant hire company in the UK to purchase Komatsu’s intelligent excavators and bulldozers, since then we have seen the demand grow. The innovative machine control system allows automated operation without the need for added on components.
Like all our Nationwide Plant Hire Fleet, these new machines are available on both short term hire and long term contract hire
